✨🍊Enter the mid-century modern “Wonderful World of Eichler” with OCHS on May 14th in our next FREE installment of public Orange history programming!

🗣️🎙️Renowned modern architect, historian and author @alanhessarchitect will take us on a journey through the creation of the Eichler style, the 3 Orange Eichler tracts and their eventual City of Orange Historic District status given in 2019!

🏛️A graduate of the UCLA School of Architecture, Alan Hess is an architect, historian and author of twenty-two books on Modern architectural history, including Frank Lloyd Wright, Oscar Niemeyer, the Ranch House, Las Vegas, and Palm Springs.

👨‍🏫Alan lectures nationally on Modern architectural history, preservation, and urban planning, and has appeared in numerous architectural documentaries. He has also done extensive research on the architecture of Irvine, America’s largest master-planned communities, and we are thrilled to welcome him here in Orange to speak with all of you!
